I've got a few guns I was thinking of customizing with cerakote but wanted some of opinions from you guys that have a lot more experience than I do.  How durable is it? Whats the cost? Most importantly, would it be a big mistake to do it, to at least what I would consider to be high end guns? I've got a couple new toys, a Staccato P and Sig 226 Legion that already look badass, but I like stuff to be different than everyone else. I'd imagine that it might kill the resale value if I ever wanted to get rid of the (I have no intention of ever doing that but..)

Heres my guns I'm thinking of doing, and a link of some cool stuff.

Cerakote is "different " like tattoos. everyone does it now.  Even on high end guns.

We did my wife's Glock26 a few years ago.  Cost $80 I think.  Holds up fine in holsters and carrying around in bags.

If you ever thought of selling for top dollar, it's a bad idea.   Cool guns.  I wouldn't mess with them, personally.
