Called CBR and they said they no longer repair radiators!

Glad I called and didnt make the 120+ mile round trip to find out.

Anyone have a reccommendation for a place?

He is the BEST !!!!!! Super Cool Guy!!!!

Thanks, didn't know #2 was still in the biz.

Took the 2d to Rancho, Sam called a shop in Fullerton and I dropped it off with them, hopefully they can take care of it. Beats the drive to Burbank but if I have to I will.

By the way, CBR quoted me $1321 for a 37'' x 18 1/2'' new radiator!

CBR customer service is the worst.
Surprised to hear that.  Haven't been there in a few years but Clint always took great care of our stuff for the Class 1 cars and prerunners.  I've even had them test and repair radiators while I waited.

Agreed.

Clint made a replica of my Ron Davis, got tired of leaks, and had it done in 6 weeks.  $800.

Came out amazing.

But this was pre Vid.

I had two similar experiences with fairly new CBR  radiators (2-3 years old) that needed repairs . Continued failed promises to pressure test them and repair. Failed promises to call me back multiple times. Both took over 4 months. Keep in mind I have 4 cars with CBR coolers, radiators, heat exchangers, ect. It just comes down to terrible communication.
