Going to replace my radiator in the off season and not sure which brand is better. Any real world reviews/experiences?

Have had both and never an issue with either. The CBR appears to be a more ruggedly built unit. Both can leak after time where the core is epoxied to the tanks but some of that has to do with how the radiator is mounted.

CBR all day long.
Went through 2 Ron Davis, leaked.
Had CBR copy the Ron Davis so it would work/fit in my car.
Works great.

Buddy of mine had both companies quote an inner cooler for his blower set up.
Ron Davis was $300 higher.

I have had both in the past without any problems. I currently have a Ron Davis and haven’t had any issues.
I needed a modification for it and took it to CBR. They are in Lake Elsinore which is more convenient for So Cal people.

CBR... but not sure if their customer service has improved? Heard they were taking longer than expected few years back and they were hard to get a hold of. I put a new CBR radiator in my car in 2020, and no complaints.

So the biggest reason I want to swap it out is that its getting older and it did have a leak a couple of years ago but FastHighJumper fixed it at his shop with expoxy and I am not sure how long those repairs last. Car never over heats with current unit but thinking it might be time for an upgrade with some better fans as well. Radiator was out of an older SCU honda car, but the year is unknown.
