Can am Idle speed

So as some as of you Know I bought a 2021 XRS RR.. Right away it started with a whine from the clutch area when in Park and Neutral. Very Hard to shift into gear. so I was thinking maybe somehow the secondary is spinning when it shouldnt in Park and Neutral which would make noise and make it hard to put into Gear. Others said maybe the idle speed is Off.. Well my car idles at 1350 in Eco and 1450 in sport mode. I was at Robert L's House we started his can am and he idles at 1500 in eco mode and 1600 in sport.. So I asked my buddy with a 2021 RC he said is idles the same as Roberts.I tried telling the dealer I think its a clutch issue the guy writing it up looked with a blank stare.. Mind you the car is one week old and has 2 miles on it.

 
And before anyone chimes in YES is has been babied to try to break in the belt. Not even really driven. To say I am disheartened is too say the least. I have had 3 RZR's NEVER a clutch issue or shifting issue now I buy this car and Its sitting at the dealer

 
Should be a simple fix Wes, let them fix it and then you'll be on your way again.

I hope so Buddy I really do.. I have lots and lots of friends with Can ams and love them. I understand sh!t happens but this Year has been kicking my ass personally so this just added on

 
Not sure the lower idle would have anything to do with it as the higher the RPM the more the Primary clutch would grab. If you said your idle was 100 rpms higher then the others, then maybe that could be engaging the primary? 
 

Now maybe you have a stuck primary clutch arm or spring that is not allowing the primary to full disengage and release the belt? 
 

When in a drive gear at idle does it feel like it’s under a load? Like when you first give it throttle you can feel that clutch engagement? Does of feel like it’s already engaged? 
 

Did you pull the clutch cover to see when running at idle and in neutral if the belt is riding on the bearing or is it still gripping the primary or sitting low in the secondary clutch?

I didnt take off the belt cover because its brand new and I want them to look at it first and not think I was tinkering with anything. I have zero whine when in Gear. When put into gear when it is whiny I slams or grinds. when you start the car after sitting a day or so and dead cold it is quiet as can be and shifts into gear like Butter. But if you move it even ten feet and put it back into park it starts whining and is super hard to shift. This is why I told the dealer I believe it is the clutch having an issue.

 
The reason I ask about the idle speed is because with the two other cars I have seen lately and theirs Idling Higher than mine a friend thinks its the clutch bogging down the engine in park or neutral.

My friends 2021 Can Am had same issue. The dealer fixed the clutch issue and its been great ever since. The 2021 are fast and the live suspension is good. Still needs springs but in stock form it worked better then my 2019.
