Any suggestions on where to go or what to do. Its been a long time since we have been.

We are definitely going to the Office for Breakfast and the Mango deck one afternoon.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

The last couple times down there, the Office was a pain.  Must have reservations and the food wasn't like it used to be and super expensive.

Things my wife loves, me too:

  • Massage on the beach, just north of Pueblo Bonito/rose hotel, there is a massage place, super cheap and good.
  • Swim with the dolphins is good for the wife.
  • Lovers beach, of course
  • boat charter for a couple hours (pretty spendy)
  • If you like super good Mexican tacos, "Tacos Guss", the little place below Cabo Wabo is good as well

We go down 1-2 times a year, a lot of pool time is good for the soul.

Ha. This is our first time going. Arriving Sunday and leaving Friday. Taking all the kids but they are pretty much adults.  The wife mostly planned it.  I think we are doing a catamaran snorkle thing on Tuesday, zip line an hour outside of town on wednesday. dunno about Thursday.  Might have to hit up taco guss as we are fans of Mexican tacos in rocky point.

Seen images of lovers cove. Im curious as well on things to do.

We took our 18, 22, and 24yr old during covid, they all loved swimming with the Dolphins.  Most of the time we go by ourselves  :sexpos:

Ha. Tried to get the wife to stay extra as our anniversary was the next week. Just didn't work out.  So yea.. taking our 16, 20, 2-21s, 22 and her hubby.  Wife did say to them we are not going to entertain them. We are beach goers and very content on sitting on the beach days on end, though one of my vices is sailing.. so might sneak away.

Thanks for all the info...I think I have a game plan.

If you want fancy, there's El Farallon in Pedregal. You go through a tunnel on a golf cart to access and it's attached to the Waldorf Astoria luxury resort, but you can make reservations and go there without staying at the resort. It's expensive, but you are eating the freshest seafood ever and sitting right on the tip of Cabo. Night time with any kind of moon is magical and worth the price of admission.

Another diamond in the rough is Salvatore’s Italian restaurant. A nice quaint setting and delicious food. Generous portions as well.

I was there for a wedding a couple weeks ago. If you go downtown expect to hear "hey bro cokemollyweed" a lot. I stayed at one of the resorts and even there the scams are in full effect. A friend ordered a glass of champagne and when she got the bill it was $2740 pesos. Seemed legit until you do the math of 20 to 1 and its $127 for a single glass of not great champagne. We argued and got it down to $20. Eff them. Also, if the sign says Masks Required ignore it. If you do ask if they are really required they'll say yes. But I don't have one? Ok senior, we can add $1 for each person per mask on the bill. They hand you a new mask in a sealed bag and don't require you to put it on from the door to the table.

Find a small testing place before you fly home. The hotel wanted $68 per person for a Rona test but we found a clinic 3 blocks away for $18.

Scam, scam, scam. Masking and testing have become currency down there and will never stop. I had to show a proof of negative Rona test at the airport buy they still required a mask. Why? $$$!!!

I haven't been down there in over 20 yrs, but we did have a great time! We planned on getting a bunch of free vouchers from the time share sales companies. When we landed, we were swamped with guys trying to get us to go to their sales pitch, so we got them into a bidding war, which one offered the most. We settled on one and made a breakfast appt. I was scarfing down a great breakfast and guzzling XX one after the other and telling them how awesome the timeshare was. Then at the end, we told them we were $70k in debt from the wedding and honeymoon, sorry, but we'll take all of the freebies you promised.

We got a half day fishing trip, got 13 nice fish and took them back to our hotel, the cooks fileted and froze them for us. We got a 1/2 day jet ski rental for 2 jet skis, we got a free booze cruise around the harbor, which was fun.

Before we went down there, we were told to bring an ice chest with wheels if we wanted to fish, so we did. It came in very handy to haul the fish from the pier back to our hotel. At the hotel, the cooks used our ice chest to store our fish in the freezer and they packed it with free ice the day we left, so when we got home, the ice was still frozen.

Just a few ideas for activities in case any of them appeal to you. We also did a lot of drinking and dancing in nightclubs every night, but I think that's pretty standard.

My wife and I went down there for our 2nd anniversary and we did the whole sales pitch time share thing at our hotel. Got free parasailing out of it. We went into town and got another timeshare speal...they gave us 2 bottles of really good tequilla. We thought...cool let's see what else we can get. Went to another the next day and were given $300 in cash, :lmao:

At the end of each speal of us going this sounds AWESOME....oh but we need to buy a house first....pay up, thanks!

:laugh1:
