Saw a YouTube clip showing Brenthel Industries shop, in the tour they show a 2 and 4 seat sandcar. Any I’ve see these in the wild at glamis. Not sure if the link works but around min 6 shows them.

It is impressive how well these guys have done and how much they have grown. Early 2000's they moved into their 2nd shop that was in the same commercial complex I was in. 2 Bay shop with about 3500 sq ft of space. They outgrew that in 5 years. Back then their space arrangement was different and extremely efficient and clean. Building 6+ trucks in every stage in that small of a shop was impressive.

The Goo had a sandrail built by Brenthel 10 or so years ago. He said it was heavy and he didn't own it long. He didn't own any of them for long for that matter.View attachment 163279
If I recall, he said it was a very poor handling car which was the main reason he sold it. There was a lot of hype for Brenthal until that situation. Nothing since, until now.

Just to clarify, The Goo's car was a class 10 car built for Glamis. I bet things have changed on their new sand specific cars.

I had one of these first sand cars in the Weddle booth at Sand Show in 2024. Other than less than desirable red/camo wrap on the car, it was a really nice car. Well built and quite a few desirable features. I think it would have caught more attention if it had a nice paint job.

They originally wanted to put torque converters in them, but I talked them out of that bad idea. Settled on the S5D trans with Motec paddle shifter systems and 11" twin disc clutch packages that work great. Will be a reliable package up to 850 ft/lbs if someone wanted to pump them up a bit. And can opt for the S4D if wanting to push over 1000 ft/lbs.

They've learned alot over the years. Their first cars/trucks left quite a bit on the table to be improved upon. But I would say their build quality in the past 6-7 years has improved quite a bit.

They may be a bit over priced, but they do have a very nice electronics package that not many other builders are offering.
