Best snow we have had in the last 15 years. Last two weekends up boondocking in the woods places I have only dreamed of seeing in a long time. Epic. No roads has been our motto. Can't always ride like this in arizona.

So we come up to this ravine today. Needed to turn around and I decide to go out about 50 ft into it to turn around and absolutely stuff the corner of my sled into a hole. Step down into it and it fills my boot with water. Took an hour of digging to get it out.

Another 8 to 9 in last night. Should be another epic day of riding. Where the snow has slid off behind the back patio it is probably at least 7 ft-8ft  from ground level.

51° yesterday and then snow overnight and crazy powder today. We had places up high easily 12 to 16 in of soft powder. Some pretty tough riding. Hard pack underneath so sometimes going through the powder it throws you around pretty good. Again epic. Damn I am sore.

And it would not have been a complete weekend without burying the sled one more time. Only 2 mi from the house trying to cross a little ravine. I'm glad I stopped and didn't try blast across it. Sunk down about 3 ft when I stepped into the 2nd hole. Used the shovel and completely filled it with snow and packed it down so I could drive out. And cut a limb off that would have been a good face scraper. Last two weekends were great medicine since my buggy is broke for the season. And I just have too much on my plate to try fix it right now.

Good work out, like riding a quad at the sand dunes, I remember riding my LT500 at the dunes for a couple days. By Sunday afternoon I made sure my son Jeff was close by in case I killed the motor in the dunes as I was too tired to get it started. It was bored and stroked and I ran it on Alky so it was real hard to start. DON~~~
