Losing battles. Not the war. Russia’s MO is to send their boys into the meat grinder and pick up the weapons of their fallen comrades. For Putin, it’s perfect since he won’t lose an election, and he’ll eliminate the most dangerous thing to a regime: angry young men without prospects.

Sadly, they’ll eventually crush Ukraine under the weight of the bear.
