I was cruising down. The road and this came up next to me.  I'm not normal a "weird color" kind of guy but damm was this a pretty color.  I wish I had got him on the left side of me the sun really made it pop

Edit for @Realbadlarry. LOL

And IMO, there is only one color for a BMW.... black as black can be.

Bet that's fun to color match or blend a panel on.
no doubt.  it looked like one of those paints that changed colors depending on what angle the light was hitting it.  When it right on my drivers door & the sun was hitting it directly, it was a deep copper color.  then it changed to a more orange color like in the picture onanysunday posted.

There are some really good painters that have the talent to paint match/blend these types of colors. But the really, really, good and smart ones who have this ability and know the business, usually move on to another field of work.

IMO, BMW M cars should have a weird color. My M5 is Chiratto (sic) Red. Looks burgundy and then shows copper when the light hits it. I thought about doing a wrap in Inka Orange which i ended up deciding against.

There is  a wild looking green M3 running around here that I want to check out up close

Looking for colors to repaint that hood?

use the word patina & it adds value to the car.  LOL.

my truck is the patina f'ing king!!!!  LMAO.

Here's the green color I've seen running around up here. Basically a modern version of the "safety" colors they did back in the 70s.

My mother had a 530i in the same color as this one back in the late 70s . . .

Im not really a fan of the glow in the dark colors.  I kind of was in the 90's, but not so much I would paint a car that color.  LOL.
