We went to see this last night.  Great story and good movie.  2 hours went by quickly, so it kept my attention.  Fwiw, I liked it a lot better than he last top gun movie.... 

 
I was a fan of Big George. Haven't seen the movie yet. Once ALI performed the Rope A Dope on him, his life changed forever! Peace

 
Sounds good, love boxing and will watch.

This on a streaming service or?

 
dunno if/when they will do streaming.  they are releasing in a LOT of theaters on Friday.

& FWIW, this is not really a boxing movie, its a George Foreman movie with a bunch of boxing history in it.  However it is just a solid good movie.  

  Im not sure how accurate any of it is, this was all before my time (& Ive never really cared about boxing, if it didnt have Teets or Tires I didnt care.  LOL).

I rooted for George Foreman in every fight he was in.  I was happy to see him succeeding in his grill commercials.

For those of you looking for someone to like and root for, I highly recommend the UFC, Professional Fighters League, and Bellator.  I have been a UFC fan solidly since 2005.  There are so many fighters with their own styles and stories.  There are great histories and biographies even if they never have a movie made about them.  It has been a fun ride for me.

and yea it was better, simply because Maverick was the same movie as the first one made decades before.........

With of course the tie to star wars and the impossible shot on a 2 meter object. Pretty stupid premise for the movie but nice fight scenes.
