As the speculation played out regarding Biden staying in the race, it was mentioned repeatedly how Biden accomplished so much during his time in office. Some even suggested he was more successful than any other modern President.
My question is what are those accomplishments?
Is it just passing massive spending bills? And if so, what real positive results did that spending generate? He passed the $1.9T American Rescue Act to stimulate the economy AFTER we were already coming out of the idiotic pandemic shutdowns an the economy was building steam on it's own which resulted in generating high demand with low supply causing a sharp increase in inflation. And he (and now heels up) claims to have "created" 15M new jobs. But when you dig into those numbers you will find the vast majority of those jobs already existed and workers were just going back to their original jobs after the shutdowns were lifted. The real number of NEW jobs is really slightly more than 6M, far less than Trumps record. He (and heels up) claims 800K new manufacturing jobs, but again, when you back out the jobs that already existed, the real number is 180k, a dismal result historically.
Maybe it was the CHIPS Act? Biden has taken credit for new chip plants being built right away, including one in AZ, one in OR, and another somewhere in the rust belt. The CHIPS act did not spur the construction of these fabs, you can't pass a bill then immediately build these massive complicated projects in a matter of months. These fabs have been planned and progressing for a significant time prior to the CHIPS act even being a thought by whoever came up with this scam. I was involved with an Itel fab in OR and we were planning for years for our role in the build.
Maybe it was the IRA Act? This is the "inflation reduction act" that Biden himself admitted does nothing to address high inflation. It really is the New Green Deal with a name that makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside, that is if you have a list of preferred pronouns, hate Jews, drive a Prius, and think the world is going to end soon. So let's look at the successes of this act. The goal was to build 50K charging stations across the country. After 2 yrs, they have built a total of seven stations! Wow, that's a blistering pace! (research what requirements are placed on bid winners for these projects, you won't believe it) Another goal was to supply high speed internet in underserved area's across the entire country at a cost of hundreds of billions of dollars. Recently, a member of the FTC board of commissioners admitted that 0, yes, 0 people have been connected so far! Moving on to clean energy, hundreds of billions in grants have been given to solar manufactures to increase production of solar panels. The largest benefactor of these grants was First Solar which happens to have several investors and executives that were big Biden donors. When First Solar received these grants, their stock price exploded making these investors and execs very rich, including one that became a billionaire with this windfall!
I can go on and on and bring up the destabilization of the world with 2 new wars and US foes getting stronger due to our weak and failed foreign policy, the divisiveness in our country, etc. etc. but this is too long as it is.
