Just got back for desert over weekend hit hard a few times but never slammed down. Cleaning car noticed shock bolts bent

Does that mean my shocks are wrong ,or just set up wrong ?

What should I do?  TIA  for any suggestions or help

Is it the uppers that are bent? Can't see if they are in the pic, but I can definitely tell you that is too far of a span for a 1/2 bolt. The mounts should be much closer together, right up against the shock heim spacers. Bolts are very strong in sheer, not so strong trying to resist bending.

Agreed with Looney Dooner, bad way to mount a shock bolt.

Good think your car isn't powdered.

Find a good fabricator and let him make it right.

OH boy here come the sheer police...............

Picture of when it was first done. Old pic , not showing bent bolts .

Get some misalignment spacers to take up some of the spacing and get a grade 8 bolt or better.
