Are Campfire permits needed?

They are required......But the ISDRA Glamis "Campfire Permit" Requirement never made any sense.

This actually applies and is ALL that is needed IMHO:

FIRES. The burning of potentially hazardous materials, e.g. (but not limited to) gas, oil, plastic and magnesium is prohibited.

WOOD PALLETS. It is prohibited to use as firewood, or have in possession, any firewood materials containing nails, screws, or other metal hardware, including, but not limited to, wood pallets and/or construction debris.

Technically yes, because it’s in CA and I believe the fire protection / conservation defaults to CalFire in G and you need the fire permit. I had all the research around here somewhere :compute:

What is this elusive "fire permit" you speak of???? 😂

I think if you get asked for that permit in Glamis, your already screwed for something else.

Good to have in case you find yourself camping somewhere else.  Once again, if someone asks to see it, you probably are in violation of something.
