My neighbor is fixing to sell his rental.  The guy in the left of me owns the house on the right.  He has rented it since before we bought our house (30 years). 

He is almost done "fixing it up to sell". I don't think this would be a good flip opportunity but it has a bitchen garage in the back and lots of room in the house (guessing 2300 ft) in a very nice neighborhood.  Downsides...  no yard/grass to speak of, it's san diego, so expensive.  And you would have me as a neighbor.   LOL

Fwiw, the whole bottom floor is one huge ass room.  It used to house the garage and it was bricked in and the wall was removed.  That is why the water heater is kinda hanging out in thw middle of the driveway...  

He built the garage in the back with a lager than normal door.  The door has been a pita for him.  He bought the cheapest door he could find and it's folded up on him a couple of times  just from being opened and closed... 

 
And the stipulation for buying the house is a long travel buggy with min 350 HP.  No SxS owners allowed on this street.  LOL  (that part was just for @J Alper)

Nice neighborhood, my In laws live on the other side of the lake on El Paso.  My Wife grew up in that area.
