(Anybody been to the south side.....Mexico). We were done on the line at the SE corner of the 3rd valley this past weekend and there was a group running in Mexico. Does anybody go down there?
Are the Mexicans easier to deal with than the BLM? I just spent, about $225, on various permits this last week. Personally, I don't feel like chancing it.
We used to go to a place called "The Blow Hole"....no juvenile comments please....it was a big-ass Witches-Eye kind of a thing. A 185s couldn't climb straight out of it...they had to corkscrew out. It was pretty much straight south of where we were...I don't remember much about the area though.
We were coming back from there once, in the dark, and my 132 broke (BTW, it could climb straight out of there) and my boss was towing me w/his ATC. He had a big-wheel 185 that was evolved into 245 that ran on alcohol. He was racing my buddy on a 185s and he was winning. I was not pleased....I locked em up and yelled, "Knock that shit off."
