Wanted to see if anyone has any recommendations for any campground or places to camp that might not be sold out for 7/3-7/6? Pretty sure I am SOL at this point but didnt know if there were any hidden gems that most folks dont know about? Located in So cal and willing to travel up to 100 miles each way.

Been at Vail all week and leaving tomorrow to hit San Onofre on Pendleton through the 3rd and had no luck at either through the 4th, guessing without lucking into a cancelation you are completely SoL at this point! :( We haven't tried these guys yet but my in-laws are members and I'm planning on it https://www.harvesthosts.com/ ...especially if anyone is into wine... not great for kiddos with lack of pools and amenities, but plenty of "campgrounds" that will hold a 43' rig

Talk to @FOG about Harvest Host. I belive him and his woman used it a lot last year on their cross-country trip.

Maybe see if you can transfer it to him before canceling.
@ChasingSand
2 things, It's not my site and no you can't transfer it. I just did a quick search to see if anything is out there. There are always last-minute cancelations, just need to check every evening. If a site has locks in it the site will be available the next morning at 8am. Newport Dunes website said to call them, I bet they have something, but it will be stupid expensive.

We ended up just cancelling the plans to try and go camping anywhere. Decided to take the kiddos to Disneyland on the 3rd and stay home for the 4th. Keeps it pretty mellow
