My son is having some issues with the 3d printer and adhesion. Any 3D print gurus out there that can lend some help

I am running a Ender 3 v2 and just recently starting having adhesion issues. Not sure what printer you have but I am hearing that bed leveling is the number one cause followed by a dirty (dusty) build plate.

Let us know what rig he is running?

I have a prusa that has a heated bed and I never seem to have that issue, But I have a friend that uses elmer glue sticks before every print. Just rub the glue on the build plate and it will hold the print in place. Another reason could be that his Z axis is to high. He needs to do a full calibration if he hasn't already.

He is using the Ender 3 Pro. He has done a calibration on extruder and a bed level (100X)  ....sooo frustrating

He is using Crealtiy Glas Bed  He has replaced Filament / Heating Filament / Bed Level / New metal Extruder top / New tips / New print nozzle

Changed slicer settings

Wow I just don't know what to suggest, When I get stumped I will usually go to the Prusa forum , In his case I would try the Ender forum , These Forums are so helpful. Perhaps someone will chime in. For myself I am somewhat a newbie , I have only been into 3d printing for 2 years.Don't give up there is always a solution .

Gonna try the fourum

I went to microcenter and just bought a CR Touch auto bed level sensor thingy... Its calibrating right now.

Well see if my situation changes at all.

We were talking about doing that / Last night he printed the :atc70:  number plate / It came out PERFECT....had to babysit the first couple layers ....Hopefully we turned the corner!

To bad you don't do the Facebook, Ole Jeremy aka 24V on the old board builds all kinds of stuff for his Hairy Customs on a 3D printer. The guy is smart when it comes to that kind of stuff.

PM me if you have any contact info..... Thanks MWB

Okay well... update on my machine as of this morning.

My issue definitely had to do with my Z axis being too far away from the bed. I was leveling the bed over an over using the leveling wheel thingy's, and getting it as close as I could but it just wasn't close enough in all areas of the bed. Even though the bed is glass it is warped etc.

With the CR touch installed it makes a map of the highs and low areas of the bed and allows you to set the Z-axis offset WAY more accurately (using the new firmware you install)

So far my adhesion is INCREDIBLE with the ZAxis being super close.  I was even using glue sticks before and still not getting a good stick like I am right now.

He was able to get it back up and running with a few billet parts / He is now waiting on an enclosure for the printer

Thanks to all the helpful comments!!!!!
