I know this has nothing to do with offloading or Glamis but suck it.  We all have hobbies outside of Mother G and I wanted to share.

A couple years ago, I took up building electric guitars.  I found it to be a pretty cool hobby.  This is my latest (number 5) and probably last build, at least for a while.  This was definitely a way to go out with a bang, if I do hang it up.

This is a copy of a Gibson EDS-1275, more specifically, the custom model they made for Jimmy Page so he could play Stairway to Heaven live.  He used 3 different guitars in the studio, but that wasn't feasible in concert so he had this custom made.  This was a lot of fun, a lot of work but turned out really nice and sounds good.  I sure did learn a lot.

Beautiful work Mac.

Wish I could play teh guitar.

Same pickups on the 12 string side?
The 12 string has Seymour Duncan Antiquities (Gibson PAFs basically) and the 6 string has Seymour Duncan Whole Lotta hum buckers (Jimmy Page voiced pickups).  Jimmy Page's original double neck had custom Seymour Duncans for the 6 string.

I've been known to tune a mean G-String!

:bag:

:lmao:

BTW nice piece Mac   :headbang:

Make sure we all get invites when you get the band together.. 😎
