Altitude adjust on Onan?

I've got an Onan 4000.  Just put a new China carb on and it's running great at my house at 4,000'.  

Does everyone adjust the altitude setting on their carbs once they get to Glamis?  This will be my first trip using the on-board and don't want to mess with anything if I don't have to.  Adjust once it's running and listen for any changes?

I usually do…. It won’t make a difference if you’re not pulling a big load on it. But once it starts working hard it doesn’t run as well. Easy enough to adjust on the fly
