Pulling up to 7-11, I see a black SUV pull up to this little medical clinic, dump this dude on the sidewalk and take off. Me and another bystander start to check for a pulse, which was weak and he wansn’t breathing. We tried to keep him awake as the sheriff pulls up… shaking and slapping on him, chest compressions, etc.

As soon as he got to us I yelled, “he’s overdosing! Do you have Narcan?” He said yeah and ran back to his cruiser, 2 shots up the nose of the Narcan and he started to come back to life. I’m sure he was about dead.

Dude was then alert and ASKED for it (Narcan) once the ambulance arrived.

Ok, that was scary.

Yeah they say that’s no longer the deal, mouth to mouth, right?... anyhow I may have busted some ribs as I was not holding back on the compressions.

Ok time for a frosty. Too close to death for my liking.

PS. Dude had obvious track marks and glue from bandages where he injects.

:clap1: Nice to know someone's paying attention good job!

Yeah.. in retrospect he’s probably gonna die that way. His aunt was there and very upset. She was the one I was grilling if he was a heroin/fentanyl user… after claiming he had ‘asthma’ she finally copped to it that he ‘does drugs.’ Probably didn’t want him in trouble.

I knew that from the get go.

Weird the Sheriff officer wasn’t fazed. Figure he sees it on the daily. Was quite indifferent to the situation.

Sad state of affairs out west.

I’ve seen too many dead people up close at this point, 3 at Olds alone.. street bike accidents etc.

I just figured that could have been me.., minus the opiates etc.… do they sell Narcan online?

I’d say I’m spooked out, but not really … not sure why it doesn’t ‘get to me.’

The kid Corey I saw get mowed by an elbow jumping sandcar when he was on his quad at Olds (24 years) was tough.. and the 15 year old girl at Pismo that got her head smashed when she junked an ATC at the water there.. those were rough and will NEVER leave me, I was 13.

Life is short folks. Fasten your belts and keep your loved ones safe.

For real.

My nephew is a meth addict living on the streets. This could have been him. It has been him and one day he isnt going to survive it. He had an absentee (drug addict mother) and when he started spending time with her as an adult she got him hooked.

Im tired of society calling him homeless, or saying his mental problems are why he does drugs. He was fine, and a marine  before be started doing drugs. Since then he has lost everything and now does suffer from  schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. These are direct effects of his drug use. He cannot be trusted anymore. He is suddenly violent, steals, you name it.

i want every drug dealer put to death. I want my nephew in jail. In isolation. Its the only thing that can help him. Society needs to quit being effin pussies and see this for what it is. And do what needs to be done
