It is come to the Slaps attention that an icon to this wonderful place, and to many of us very dear friend, has passed away. Our friend The Pastor, Brian Covey passed in his sleep Friday This is a sad day in the hood. Slap has no words at this moment…😢😢

As someone who has known Brian my entire life I don't have the words. GODSPEED and RIP PASTOR

Brian... my SSSS brother in arms! You will be missed my friend.  Seeing you in your white van in wash 13.5 always cracked me up!  Give "Bear" some belly rubs for me!

 
Very saddened to hear this, he was the pastor in my first marriage almost 20 years ago. One of the first I met on the very first original platform of this forum before there were logins. Very very sad 

 
Pastor was a one-off for sure, always had a smile no matter how hectic things got. Now he gets to visit his pops and walk his buddy Baja Buggy again. RIP Brother.
