A/C just isn't blowing as cold as it used to so want to get a quick tune-up/check done on it. My normal spot off 67 is slammed so can't get in there. Anyone have a shop in East County (El Cajon/Lakeside/Santee) that is trust worthy and doesn't charge an arm and a leg.

Kirk’s Radiator on Magnolia next to Gillespie Field. I can’t say enough about the good, honest work they have done for me.

If this is for your car, you can recharge it yourself for dirt cheap.
Yep. You can rent a manifold setup from O’Reilly or wherever and charge easily.

They were great. Replacement lines were $300 on a car I had back in the day, they re-tubed the original ones for $50 for me a decade or so ago.

DOH! Yep for my car.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Yeah, I already went and bought a can of R134a from Autozone with the hose/gauge. My only thing is I think it might be something other than the charge so don't want to over charge the system (pretty easy since with these can/hose/gauge things you only see the low pressure side.

I will give Kirk's a call no Monday. Always hear great things about them but then forget about them when I need to get work done.

And if they are busy, call Don at north park imports.  8338472944 and see if he can work you in.  They are right off of the 805 at university.   Super easy to get to.  He just worked on the AC on my Ram.

Yes bro Kirks is good. We used to use them all of the time when I worked for Marlins.

I had eskimo air do the air on my tahoe 5/6 years ago. Wasnt cheap 1500$ but still blows cold trouble free
