I picked up this project and a bunch of other parts for a 70 build from @Squatcher a couple years ago. It took a year for me to figure out how it all goes together.  I want to thank @Stugots for the help and getting most of the parts that I needed to make this purdy. I also want to thank the craziest 70 man I know @Poule43 for everything related to the finished ride.

I took the frame and swing arm to B&B powder coating for a candy red. I think they knocked it out of the park.

I had the paint done at a shop in Fontana. Perfect Image did a wonderful job on the Metallic White. The tank and front fender.  This was a suggested painter from @Poule43

I had a bunch of billet aluminum that @Stugots had got for me.  When I took stuff to be chromed I took that also. I ended up having to get that polished also.  You can see how that pops against the red. The worst part is one all the white gets bolted on most of the red disappears.

I did the final assembly and discovered that the bike looked and felt like a chopper.  So I regrouped and I had to shorten the forks 2”s and I changed out the shock to a longer Marvin Shaw shock.  I got the right stance everyone said it needed.  The shock was pretty sand blasted from it being on a old school sandrail. So off to the chrome shop for a polish.

middle picture it shows back low from high

bottom picture is the proper stance is correct
