Alright guys like most things there is a shortage of parts. I'm trying to get some new 934, 35 spline CV Stars. Does anyone have a connection? I've tried McKenzie's, Kartek, and i even called fortin and no one has any in stock. All are on back order. I might have to just go buy all new cv's just to get the stars but i'm trying to avoid that. Any help is appreciated

Got my 930 star yesterday from Kartek and Tyler mentioned the 934 stuff is "roughly" 6 months back ordered.  Good luck I know lots are looking.

Can you turn the old ones around?

You are supposed to put the cages & stars in with a specific orientation, but if the body of the CV is goobered up on one side of the valley or towards the front or back of the valley, you can flip that around & get the balls to ride on the "good" part.  I also think you can do the same to the star, but have never done it.

yes, you can turn them around typically. They are pitted where the balls go and its pretty much pitted the whole way around. Rather be safe than sorry and just put new ones in. Keep the pitted one as a spare

Isn’t there a step on one side of the stars that need to face a certain way? I thought is was towards the clip
yes the step needs to face down so it locks into the broaching machine so it will make the splines straight,

Don’t mind me I’m a bit slow so what are we flipping the star or the body

You can just put the star on the opposite side.  If it was on the passenger, put it on the driver.

Why not post up pictures of what you currently have and let us arm chair this for you.

The star only

See if you can get some EMPI's they are $110 for the whole CV.  I have been running them and they hold up great.  Alper told me this trick years ago and I have saved tons of money.

Ahh! copy that thanks for the clarification

Depends on HP, but Sandroosten is running 33 spline Empi at 880HP at the wheels,   the Empi is lasting longer then the S4D's   might be a better options for a new set of axles and some stars,  if you want a great package, i would do the Chromoly Empi and Have Cryoheat treated,
