5500 onan generator repair

hi all,i have a 2005 warrior that needs the 5500 watt onan generator removed and repaired.if anyone has some tips on how to remove it out the side,i would appreciate it.it spun the coupler between the flywheel and the crank.got a new belt and tensioner too,and a brush pak.warrior put part of the frame just off under the center,so it cant come out the bottom!

or does anyone know a reliable repairman local,i could tow it to brawley,el centro,etc.just didnt want to bring it all the way home.

You have to take the trailer door frame off.   It will come out they are tight.

oh yes i know that,but how do you slide it out of there?that suckers heavy!

i used a harbor freight hydro cart, 500 lb. Capacity Hydraulic Table Cart (harborfreight.com)

Did this last year. Me and a friend pulled it out, no problem

I did mine on my fifth wheel by myself. I had a push cart that was just about the same height. Slid it out onto the cart. I did ding up the door frame trying to remove it. That mastic is some strong puddy!
