30 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch

What have you guys used for a 30 amp automatic transfer switch on your RV or Trailer?

I want to install one so I can run the onboard generator or my small Honda generator. I don't want to have to unplug one and plug it in to the other. 

So what have you guys used and had good luck with?

You could make your own for under $50, if you wanted.  A simple open frame relay in an enclosure and some minor wiring.  I can help you in detail, if you're interested.  It's not hard at all.

Here is an example of a power relay you need.  Grainger likely has a replacement for this that you could pickup locally.  I'm sure Grainger is a little bit more. This is $21.00.  You just need an electrical enclosure to house it safely.
