Picked up this ‘86 barn find tonight. Couldn’t pass it up for the price. I’m wanting to get it back to original as possible. It’s been sitting for 6-7 years. Where is the best place for replacement and maintenance parts? Any tips or advice? Thanks in advance

Some parts are going to be easy to find because the newer bikes are still using them.. Some you will need to find aftermarket ones and some will be not so easy.

Start with the big ones Chaparral, Denis Kirk, Rocky Mountain. After that Ebay.

My friend has talked to the several times about building his 250r motor.  His bike has been sitting for several years with no motor.
I know they have a few months backlog in engine builds right now. They are extremely busy in that dept with the start of desert season on the horizon. So, if your buddy wants it by oct/nov. better make an appt asap

I had a whole fleet of these about 8-9 years ago and back then OEM fenders were going for over a grand. OEM parts are ridiculously expensive and hard to find. I would put several alerts on eBay and offer up and snag things when you see him cuz they go quick

He wants it, but his wife and wallet say no.  LMAO!!!!!

ATC250R Specific Websites, Forums and Groups on Social Media (IG, FB) will be your new friends. There isn't a single source anymore, discontinued parts but a new wave of small shops that now fill those gaps.

Be sure to post your progress and links to sources here, plenty of fellow ATC enthusiasts on GD.
