Never had the side by side down to the dunes. Buggy radiator is almost done but I want to go play. Going to run on the stock bighorns. 172 HP car. What tire pressure? I am guessing 8psi? And run in 4 wheel drive? Would think that is a must.

I ran a little more than 2 seasons on a 2018 Max sitting on stock bighorns. 8 is plenty and absolutely 4wd. You'll still need to carry some momentum for the bigger stuff, can't just sit at the bottom and point and shoot from a rolling start, but once you are used to it... well, I had no problem keeping up or even leading with'm and being asked to check-up

I would add though, make sure you take a small compressor - those stock beadlocks gave me troubles taking on sand a couple times until I finally sealed them all up with sta-flo.

Great info. Thanks. I will throw some starch in all 4.

Bighorns actually work pretty well.  I would start at 10psi and see how that feels.  I would not go below 8psi.   I would also run in 4wd as it will help pull you through the turns as the ass end is sliding.
