2.5L Subaru turbo engine

Unless something "happens" or I have compelling reason to...

I do maintenance once a year right before the season.
- Valvoline VR 20W50 with a filter change
- Napa gold fuel filter
- Trans fluid REV-X lightweight
- CVs with Redline CV grease.

Other than that, I check the car over and see what I find or what it "tells" me.  I'll check wheel bearings, steering, etc...but it's it's not leaking or wobbly, I run it.  I try and do these maybe every other season.

I try not to over think this.  Fluids and filters are much better than they were for those of us growing up tinkering on our old cars.

2.0 Turbo

Air filters cleaned every trip (intake/breather)

oil and filter changed every trip 5w-30 royal purple (6 pack of filters from outfront)

***blow out timing belt area every trip****

clean and inspect cv's every season

change trans fluid every season

fuel filters changed every season

when engine is disconnected - radiator flush and new clutch

check for any play in rear hub bearings whenever on the jack

never have changed spark plugs since I got it 6-7 years ago, gonna do that this week and check gap from old ones to see what performance I've been lacking..... (high revving turbos can cause gap to shrink over time...???)
