1984 Single (DIO for me)

I was a Van Halen nut, but for this year... I'm gonna have to go with Scorpions.

Most of those have been SO overplayed I can't listen to them anymore. Alex I will take Last in Line for $500.

Scorpions off that list would have been number one, with TS a close second.

I was 12...haha

Hell ya, DIO!  I think that was my first tape ever.  I thought the video for Last In Line was the raddest thing ever.

Dio for the win, the talent in that band as true musicians blows away all the others easily,,, EVH excluded of course.

Edit:

Warren De Martini is no slouch ether (Ratt) and a shout out to Matthias Jabs as well. ( Scorps)

Ratt-Round and round.

But I'll take Top Jimmy off the 1984 Van Halen album as well...

:dbart:

Funny, that was the music I listened to in the 80's. I do not remember that DIO song, or the band itself. The lead singer looks familiar, but I don't remember them or Last in Line. I should because it touches on everything I was into at the time.

Ronnie James Dio, he was in a lot of cool bands.

I'd forgotten about Slade's Run Runaway.  Just pulled it up and "oh yeah, I remember this one" . .

Once Quiet Riot in 83 cashed in big time with Cum on Feel the Noize they instantly felt relevant again. Yeah that was their comeback song   .

That song and QR's second cover of Moma Were All Crazy Now, reminded everyone they were only a one trick pony.
