I am 71 still ride my dirt bike not in the sand anymore too damn much work now but I still like trail riding. I still think you will regret it if you sell the car I sold mine because of my wife’s health issues and still miss the sand.
@Mac Trust me I have been down this road with my first long travel, looking for parts for the first one and found a car I just couldn’t live without yea right dumbest thing I ever did. It has been 10 years and I still am...
I would do what is comfortable to you and I am in agreement forward or up is right turn and back or down is left turn my Sand Limo was beside drivers seat left hand but was forward left and back right which is opposite of what I was used to running certain machines so I switched it to fit me
Sitting in the airport waiting to board headed to Vegas for the week. Will be doing some trips in to AZ taking the SIL and BIL sight seeing if we make it to Havasu we will visit Mustang Sally’s.
Everyone have an awesome safe weekend

I couldn’t get them to cover my cars for comp with out full coverage which I thought was outrageous for a lower value car so I just did liability only. This was State Farm maybe just our agent who knows.
In your situation Dockmaster you can’t hardly not pay the dues too much risk.

Hopefully he will recover well and be able to lead a normal life sounds like he will need a miracle to race again. Praying for his recovery.
