    Ca labor law question

Even if the lunch isn't required to be taken, you gotta cover your ais by having an acknowledgement form signed by the employee and filed. Gone are the days of a handshake and a mans word.

    What is it…

A sand rail is a broad term. Back in the day, water pumper buggies used a stripped down chassis that consisted of the bottom frame "rails", the engine/trans, seating arrangement and not much else. These were almost always built for exploring the sand dunes. A dune buggy is also a broad term. It...

I'm a car guy again, after a 20 year break

I dig it bud. The history, the premise, the adventure. Sometimes the car isn't just a car. Or a buggy. Great color by the way.

Calling you all out right now!!!

1998. Kurt may have had the BBS going in 1997. That information was lost in the crash unless someone can pull it from a web crawler somewhere.

The site has been around longer than 2001 though.

Calling you all out right now!!!

I'm partial to the standard GD.com shirt design. Small logo left front, large logo center back. Like the glamis beach store, other shirts can commemorate holidays, special occasions, etc. This shirt is about promoting the site and is enough on its own for any of us to wear. Keep the price down...

Loved his stories in Dirt Bike, but that writeup was AI. Not a fan.

    Camp RZR Polaris

That quote specifically targets Brian and I and a host of others who have spent a large portion of time over our lives encouraging people to come to Glamis via this website. Like those before me when the internet was newish, I found a way to learn about my hobby and help those who seeked info...

    Camp RZR Polaris

I disagree. I have seen countless riding areas closed down. Over and over again. Spotted owl, milkvetch, lynx, times infinity. This is the result of a growing population of people using public lands, poorly utilized taxes/collected funds, and less land to recreate on. We are corralled into...

    Camp RZR Polaris

I know a good number of people that enjoy the production. Polaris is one of the few OEMs that put money and effort into such a large industry event. Like any crowded event, there will be turn offs. Can temporary traffic light systems be set up at wash road and Gecko road to keep people moving...

Is the sport quad segment dead?

Him sitting on the back like a bambino spread the weight out perfect and made it ride like a Cadillac.

What do you dislike about Glamis?

I can't stand the ego show of memorials and attractions. It's all garbage in my opinion. I was fine with Chuck Boardman's when it was the only one but when the next plaque was added, I knew it was the start of the me too flood. I'd like to see Glamis bare of all of the monuments to human...

Best Dirt Bike for riding in the Glamis Sand Dunes?

2.2 gallons. KTM uses a 2.3-2.4 gallon tank depending on year. The KX is an MX or offroad tailored design. The aftermarket will step up with larger tanks. I am interested in the 327X with its 6 speed (Both have e-start) will have enough of a charging system to run head and taillights.

Best Dirt Bike for riding in the Glamis Sand Dunes?

Been eyeing the X. We can't sticker register any new bikes though right? These have to be track only? I've got fingers crossed we get a new governor with some sense and a strong pen hand. And to answer the topic question, I think it's a 450 for most riders.

Is the sport quad segment dead?

My first thought was :Look at all the dust! That shows you how long its been since I was out on a group ride in the desert. I remember coming in looking like an Arab I was so covered in silt.

Is the sport quad segment dead?

I still would like to find an '83-'84. The water pumpers are out of my price range. Till then..
