I have flat towed my Raptor (6,000lb) behind my 37' workhorse 8.1 gas with Alison a couple of times, feels pretty much the same as my box trailer loaded with the Funco. Tranny is the key, the more gears the better. Any way you look at it, SD to desert tow is tough on everything.

My box trailer has an electric jack, I take the fuse out, so the thieves need to bring their own jack and take mine apart or bring the handle and manually use it........most likely not going to happen. Along with that I have a Hitch lock and wheel lock. Also have both Air Tags and Tiles on all...
