Had it happen to 2 of my work vehicles, we just drained the tank, changed the oil, and ran it. Never had any issues after that. One was a Duramax and the other was the 6.4 Ford. Currently the Duramax is over 250k miles, no idea on the Ford.

I don't really know the reason. I sometimes use my tailgate as a workbench, but all my neighbors also back in their trucks while their cars all go in forward. These are flat driveways. Maybe it is a man vs woman thing, lol.
