What holds up better in the sand world? Have some KING shock bodies that can use a freshen up, and trying to debate between the two? Looking to just do a solid black, either satin or semi-gloss. any other pros/cons to using either one?

I ended up going back to a Kennedy clutch. Stage 3 I believe and it has been great. No noticeable difference from the weddle clutch and 1/2 the price.

Has anyone experienced both? and is the TRAX significantly better? if I am reading it correctly, to get the full benefit of the TRAX system you need to run new cables and new headsets as well? currently have a standard intercom w/ the old school racer X mini amp tied into it... and I upgraded...

For new build definitely go 35 spline up front. Just make sure to carry a spare CV and maybe 1 axle as they are harder to find when you’re in a pinch for time. Hopefully you’ll never need the spares but nice to have.

are you currently having axle or CV issues w/ the 33 splines? 35 is supposed to be stronger... had a friend that was going through CV's w/ 33 splines, he has swapped to 35 spline and so far so good after about 1 season. But this is through a 2 seat TRX w/ close to 2k HP and someone who runs it...

So bummed for him about this! but talk about manning up! racing w/ a broken leg...

I sort of agree when the dunes are beat to crap... This last weekend the conditions were nice and I fell back in love with my car. Still an LS powered car in the 50K range in decent conditions is a lot more fun than buzzing around in a SxS IMO

Extreme seems to be doing this the best. Inflation is a mofo... 125K is the new 75K. Still can't beat a buggy in the sand. SxS are cool for their versatility, but if you're doing sand only... a 50K used LS1 buggy is gonna outperform the SxS

CBR... but not sure if their customer service has improved? Heard they were taking longer than expected few years back and they were hard to get a hold of. I put a new CBR radiator in my car in 2020, and no complaints.

Mine has a key, and sometimes I remember to take it out when we’re at duners diner or vendors. Either way still leaving 1k worth of headsets hanging, goggles etc...

do they actually build their own cars, or just prep and service other cars? I do see a lot of alumicrafts on their IG page.
