Adding Fuel Station and Water Station to enclosed trailer

Tanks are aluminum I believe. I’ll take a look at them. I think I recall seeing a label on them from whoever makes them . I don’t think they are made in-house by Intech. I’ve had trailers with E-track and L-track. I prefer the L-track. Easier to clean as you noted. And I prefer the thinner width...

New buggy builder in So Cal

Great looking stuff! Always good to see people starting their own business. Best of luck to Ryan and the Explicit team! So that's at least two former Alumicraft folks that have started new shops. Brian Scarborough (sp?)started Podium Fabrication. I vetted Podium when I was deciding on a builder...

    Tatum Blackwidow build

Curious why you are switching from the HP to the Dominator? My understanding is the only real difference is if you need more then 8 i/o's or multiple O2 sensors. I'm certainly no expert here, just going by what I found when I compared and selected the HP based on engine builder's recommendation.

    Mason Motorsports buggy build

Curious what the pros and cons are of putting the fuel up forward? Better weight balance? How much effect does it have on the CG being a bit higher than typical cars that put the fuel lower and rearward? What about the safety aspects?

    Sand Car For Sale Ads

At least in this ad several folks already told him it's not an SU. Doesn't seem to bother him enough to edit the ad or make a correction that is noteworthy. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1404776046442278

    Retired yet??

I'm in decision mode currently. I may pull the plug next summer. Depends if company ownership cinches down the golden handcuffs more or not. I'll be 57 next year. I think worst case is to head to pasture summer of 2026 but would like it to be sooner.

No-Lift-Shift, What is it? (Paddle Shift Info Added 9/17/24)

I'm placing an order for a new Albins from Weddle (via Funco) in the next day or so for my Funco build. Can this be added to an Albins? Car will have a Holley Pro system. Any idea if that supports the no lift shift parameters required?

What are your thoughts on this?

Yep, Oregon takes their flag laws pretty serious. I got stopped once because I only had a 3' x 5' yellow smiley face flag on my rail. You have to have orange or red in Oregon and it must be on top. You can fly multiple flags but an orange or red must be the top flag. Fortunately the LEO was cool...

    Buying and selling

Just look back before the COVID inflation spike and when the FED started raising rates. You couldn't 2% on a CD, even lower for a long time. Unfortunately, T-bills are already dropping too and will likely continue more once they lower rates. Won't be many ultra-low risk places to stash cash and...

Anyone Replace Radiator in 17’ F350?

I’ve owned it since new. Don’t think anything damaged it. The Ford radiators are known to develop leaks where the plastic tank crimps to the core. I never had an issue with my last F350 radiator for 15 years. Oh well, just my luck this time I guess. No other real issues with the truck (knock...

Anyone Replace Radiator in 17’ F350?

Following up on this. I put some stop leak in the weeping radiator and it held for a year then started weeping again from the same spot. I bought the Mishimoto all alum radiator and did the swap this weekend. The new radiator looks like a piece of jewelry. Doing the swap was a decent size...

It's Saturday Aug 31st 2024... What is everyone doing this Labor day weekend?

Took the Moho down to Corvallis and heading over to tailgate then over to the Beavers football season opener this afternoon. Got preferred parking and an invite to sit in the President’s private box. Amazing what they do when you give a big donation and they want to see how much more they can...

Enclosed trailer preference *** Fractal or New Trend ???????

I do not believe ATC will go over 102" wide. I would also look closely at quality with ATC as I believe they changed hands and I've heard they are not the same as they used to be (unverified). Intech is the way to go!

Enclosed trailer preference *** Fractal or New Trend ???????

I think you will find the price difference is not as much as it used to be. Many of the trailer builders mentioned in this thread have gone in up in price significantly.

Enclosed trailer preference *** Fractal or New Trend ???????

Yes they will do 106" or even wider if you want. Mine is 106" which yields a rear door opening of 101.5". I know somebody that had them build 110" wide. They are in Indiana but it's easy to get a trailer shipped. If you want to get a quote, I'll send you a contact for the dealer I used. He was...
