JB weld most likely will not stick. Try it on some other spot on the tank, after it cures hard you can probably just pull it off of the side of the tank. Plastic welder should do the trick. It's just melting the plastic back together. Harbor Freight has a cheap one, I just use a big soldering...

Ha, we used to ride one of those towed behind a buggy in the dunes when we were kids. Lots of fun but sure would get hot, had to sit on an old blanket to keep from burning your ass 😂

It may start after it cools off a bit and builds more oil pressure, might also try starting it with ICP unplugged. Should be on passenger side valve cover

Ripped a brake line off one time, easy fix with the vicegrips bend the line over and clamp it off, but out of brake fluid. Seems that Coors light works fine. Probley still some in that old cars brake system today.

Let it sit in a half-round saddle with a spring over the top to add restraint but still allow some movement. Maybe not the most "high-tech" way but the setup works
