Positive improvement to my Pos pressure setup

Using a 12v bilge blower to give a toyhauler fresh air. Its got a speed control and uses an automotive air filter to get rid of some dust.  It was orginally 4" corrugated pipe. I thought it would flow better than flexible duct.  While it might flow better....the noise was bad. It created an...

Does anyone currently do this in glamis and have tips to make it perform better? Lets say youre in Glamis on a saturday and have a verizon jetpack that is throttled down and very slow. Can you tell a smart TV to begin downloading the program, and then several hours later begin watching some if...

Wind speed on roof of trailer?

Can anyone guess the experiment? I blocked the vent with cardboard. The plastic is just so i can see up there. Make sure the fan opened. The plastic and cardboard are sealed tight.  Hint: The toyhauler has 2 other vent openings.

Wind speed on roof of trailer?

Got it temporary mounted without sealant. Decent little unit i guess. Its pretty quiet on high. Pulls 2.2amps. Its got a thermostat feature that looks promising. Strangely even when i set to 34F the fan only pulls 1.7amps. No biggie just means it doesnt go to high. If i remember correctly 90%...

Wind speed on roof of trailer?

How much wind do you think happens between the roof and about 6 inches high? For example the roof vent. Has anyone been inside an RV or class C and looked at the standard roof vent while driving down the road? Does it see much turbulence?  Asking because i have a MaxxAir roof vent. I want to...

What do you think these UFOs are?

Listened to this whole thing yesterday. He said that his model of fighter jet was made with a certain radar. But plumbed to be fitted with the newer system later. He said its common for pilots to fly different planes with the different radar systems even on the same day.  The old radar couldnt...

Basic 120v welder advice por favor

Yeah i thought it would be strange for the tip to weld itself. Would expect that outter metal to be isolated? Its not my welder so i was extra extra careful.  Got it floating!!! Next step will be playing around with bungee cords to support it driving down the road. I got 50 feet of 1/4" Marine...

Basic 120v welder advice por favor

Here it was before paint. It still has the ability to twist a little more than i hoped.  Not sure im happy with it. Im going to hang from it tomorrow and see how it feels. I guess the TV itself wont be applying twisting motion. Im just a little disappointed how easy i can twist it by hand.

    Best inverter brands in 2022?

I want to get an inverter charger in the 2000watt range. Last season i got close to going with Renogy. Also looking to get a more basic 1000watt inverter to use for either a fridge or entertainment center.  You know how a Honda motorcycle will be well built? What brand of inverters would have...

Basic 120v welder advice por favor

Thanks for the advice. Looking back my biggest mistake was i should have sanded more paint away. Especially the backside of the weld. Most welds ended with a paint fire. Was windy so i closed the garage and it got smokey.  Have advice on durable black spray paint brands? Also do you bleed off...

Basic 120v welder advice por favor

I havnt done much welding. Please teach me anything you find relevant. Even if it seems simple and obvious, it might be new to me.  Want to turn this bedframe into a television mount. It measures to be 0.100" thick so im guessing that is 12 gauge according to the chart on the welder.  Pretty...

    TV setups in fancy toyhaulers

This could be the solution. Top view looking down. Blue color is the existing metal bunk frame.  Imagine the TV being on a gate. Swing it closed when time to drive. Dirt bike tires will fit under the TV so no change how i tie things down.  Will put the pivot and lock on the damper springs.  I...
