I have a Fortin FRS4 and I only use the clutch when starting/stopping and at times downshifting when I have to come to a quick stop and go down to 1st.

My Funco cage attaches at that same point. Not interlocking, just a machined threaded insert into one side and a plate with a hole in the outer to screw in the 1/2" bolt. I would assume the interlocking clamp would hold up just fine in that area.

I got an old Lowrance Baja 540C for mine. Used Axia Alloys clamps for it. I think I was about $250 into the whole setup. If you're looking for something newer, I just swapped it to the HDS7.

Well I ordered a set off amazon and had it delivered next day. I cant believe how much crap builds up, add in powder coating and lets just say I did not budget the correct amount of time for my re-assembly.

Look at the Motion Raceworks steam vent kit. I just put it on mine and routed it to the top corner of the radiator.

I just got all my parts back from powder coating. Unfortunately, when reinstalling several of the hiems, they would not go in. It appears that there is some material in the threads preventing installation. So my question is - Is there a way to clean the threads without spending hundreds on...

I run an ACDelco 105amp alternator from Auto Zone on my LS6. It's easy to get replaced if it goes out. So far so good. I calculated my needs one time, and it was in the 94amp range. So, there is not much headroom but that is with everything turned on.
