    Interlocking Weld In Tube Connector/Coupler

I do not see any reason to not add these. With the entirety of the back of that car welded together you would likely be able to eliminate this tube all together and still net the same rigidity. A lot of the DD cars i have run into have had the uglier flange version of this done without any issues.

    Outboard Hubs & Sand

I know a big draw back with outboards a long time ago was water running down the axle into the cv i would imagine thats why jamar came up with the inner boot design

    Outboard Hubs & Sand

add a picture of the outer boot. typically there is a sealed bearing that rides the axle. the chewed up srping has since been replaced. but on the summers brothers outboards they had a plastic 2 piece bearing retainer that clamped on to the axle and the boot clamped to the outer race of the...

    SHOCK EXPERT HELP

By locking up I mean stiffen up enough to violently shake the car side to side. The best way I can describe it would be a steering dampener. I would have to either hammer down and get over the top of them and just take it or slow down drastically maybe down to 5 mph and also just take it. when...

    SHOCK EXPERT HELP

I was having an issue with going over the real tight side to side chatter bumps in the back only. the rear suspension would essentially lock up in the really fast turnover low speed stuff even with the bypasses wide open on all the tubes but would perform well in larger whoops. so I've built a...

    SHOCK EXPERT HELP

The bypass and co at full bump are both on there rubber stoppers. I did some more measuring and since I’m running an outboard hub the cv isn’t the limiting factor it’s actually the axle hitting the trailing arm I would be able to get maybe another 1” of droop but I’m not sure that’s worth it. Oh...

I have a 2.5 14" coil over and a 3.0 16" bypass on the back of my car. both shocks are set up for 90* at bump. but at full extension un strapped i will use all 16" of the stroke on the BP and only 12" of the stroke on the CO. I have about 5* left in the safe zone on my cvs so more droop is...

    Off season remodel and prep

Well I’m an idiot and can’t be satisfied. When I redid the car I intended on swapping out the seats after this season but since they are standard 14x18 mounting points I never thought about any of the other issues I’d likely run into so I didn’t worry about it. Well I got new seats and they were...
