Mid 80's to mid 90's

This / my sxs supposedly weighs 1700. And 200hp. I can't imagine a 2800 lb 200hp car in the dunes, Hard pack whatever. Unless I go back 50 years to my high school days and a 1600 vw baja bug at Ocotillo. 

My 5 seat DD with a 600 HP V8, S4 and 934s weighed 2700. WTF  ?

Selling my barely used set of sand tires. CST 32x12x15 rears. 32x11x15 STI fronts. Still have the nips. Maybe 200 sand miles. $ 450 obo. 

I'm running CST 32x11x15, 8-10 psi, Paddles on my rear 23xrs Canam. I'm looking for a little more grab in the sand. Just wondering what paddle tire would be a slight upgrade ?. Stock HP. Thanks.

One of the best upgrades I ever did on my DD car. 1 1/4" solid. Thanks to Dustin AG sand cars.

I added a radio on my x3 and killed the battery because I didn't install a power switch. So I upgraded to an Odyssey 975 battery and installed a toggle power switch and a main battery disconnect with leads for a trickle charger.

Sounds like 2001 or 02 all over again. Or was that 2003, or maybe 2004, ?. Crap I can't remember. Was glad I camped in the deep washes back then. Hehe. Is probably the only thing you saw of me ..

He can't remember. Lol I sold my 18 year old DD and went to the other side. I'm now a bug. Sxs that is. 

 Having a DD, the trans side stars always were pitted or worn every hard dune season when I had 930's and a 2d. After I did the full pull and went with 934's, a S4, and moved my engine and trans back 4" to correct or make better the axle offset I never had a problem or a bad CV or star ever...

I had Dustin at AG sand cars do my DD. Perfect install. Barely fit with the S4 but he did it. Huge difference in handling. 

Have anyone of you older 05 ish DD owners felt like your rear brakes were kinda funkie ?. Well have no fear I finally have figured it out. Some original azzhat welded the plate to the trailing arm backwards. Yep. The caliper mount is on the wrong side. Pic. Not the end of the world to fix but...
