I found a cracked exhaust manifold on the old 5.7 work van about a month ago. Being lazy I figured I would give this stuff a shot. Did a little grind and clean and went for it. It's lasted about 3000 miles.

Found a 2011 250r Se for my son.  It's in pretty good shape but it oil smokes  when cold.  I'm a 2 stroke guy but im thinking it's the valve guides. Maybe rings? Where do I go from here? Compression test? Tear the head off and just do valve seals? Which seals are best? Do I replace the timing...

Hit some serious wind right around Salton city back in mid October.  Look out my mirror to see this. Went through the trailer and started pulling floor trim screws. Got her screwed back on and it held for the 1200 mile trip home.

As long as nobody gets hurt, breaking stuff and getting back to camp is part of the fun for our group. Few years ago my son wadded up his lt80 splitting the case on day 2 of an 11 day trip. Got it back to camp and started teariing it down. No one thought I could salvage his trip. I had to try. ...

Met the owner a few weeks ago while they were out there setting up camp and testing. Nice guys.  Bailed me out by selling me a 2"-2.5" receiver adapter off his truck for cost.

Cleaning up the TH and truck after 3 weeks on the road with the family. Catching up on some work I've been neglecting while gone. Sand and weather was epic week before last.

Started hitting Glamis in 2001. Cr500 and an atc 350x. Being in Colorado we only go about 1x a year.  Missed a few years here and there due to health issues and traveling to other dunes and ride areas. 

Kids are having fun capturing scorpions and watching them battle. They have caught about a dozen within 50' of camp.
