    Upcoming trip

We’re heading out Wednesday the 19th and was wondering if any of you guys that might be out there camped on one of the pads might be heading home mid to late next week, long shot but basically looking to take over a departing groups spot! As we all know getting a spot can be next to impossible...

    Dyno tune

If you’re in Glamis for the month reach out to Steve Cole and see if he can clean up the tune for you, I believe he’s out there all month also.

    Wiring questions

I wired my intercooler fans with two separate relays that are triggered by the fuel pump output on my Holley system (it also triggers the fuel pump relay). This wouldn’t work for the trans pump with a temp sensor because it’s a ground signal and the temp sending unit is likely also a ground signal.

    J35 build

There’s a great Facebook group for e85 in Arizona, all the street car guys use it and post their test results, it’s not as hard to find higher content ethanol than some think. There’s even a map with every e85 station on it and the stations are color coded for wether they test at e54 or e85+ I...

    934 CV'S

Curious why turned down cv body’s won’t work? There isn’t that much taken off, they work fine on the transaxle side and microstubs when turned down. Outboards?

    J35 build

Roughly 8k, around 5k in parts for motor build.

    J35 build

They require the cylinders to not be out of round so on a used block you may need a hone or bore. These had no variance in taper or out of round so they just pressed right in. And it will be on 110. Personally I’d do e85 but the customer likes the ease of race fuel.

    J35 build

And here’s the carnage from the previous “built” motor. What’s left of the thrust washer that had a party in the crankcase below I’d also like to reiterate that I’m not making this post to stir things up or bash the previous builder, there was all kinds of finger pointing on the whole deal...

    J35 build

I’m horrible at posting here but figured some people may enjoy this build. A customer of mine with a turbo Honda in a two seat Alumicraft had a hell of a season last year. Started out with a couple of rods and pistons deciding they wanted to be outside of the motor on a stock j35a4 that had...

    Wrecked sandcar on YouTube

I know the previous two owners of that car. It is a jp designs (just practicing). The story is that he got in a light head on collision with a Rzr at Gordon’s while cruising to test hill in 2nd gear, coming over a roller and neither of them saw each other, the front end basically fell off the...

    Cv prep already?

I ran the fortin stars when I had 930’s and also had great luck with them!

    Cv prep already?

Thanks for all the input! I have the limit straps set with the axles at 23-24*. I just ordered some empi stars from kartek to replace these ones to get me through this Idaho trip, I’ll go to the gear one cv’s on the next round! I’ll also tighten up my angles to 22*. I always ran 22 when I had...

    Cv prep already?

I always thought the pitting was from shock load but that makes sense! I’ll likely just replace the stars for now and maybe upgrade to some higher quality cv’s later.

    Cv prep already?

what’s up guys! We have an Idaho Dunes trip coming up next month so I figured I’d get started on the prep (after pulling the back up ls2 out and putting the fresh 418” ls3 back in with new turbos and some other goodies) But anyways, cv stars have some minor and some pretty bad pitting. Two of...

has anyone seen a compound turbo set up in the dunes?

I’ve seen them on the same drag utv guys cars, I think it was in a can am and the guy said they run upwards of 60psi on it… it’s one of those 300’ cars though.
