When you make it too complicated it will be unreliable for offroad. Just connect it to a switch pro and turn it off/on.

I have not watched the video, dont know the damage. But tubing cant cost alot and a shock is only a couple grand. In parts i would bet no more than 6k on the high side. Then add labor. At a big name shop i bet 10k would fix the front end.

My exact thoughts, if you are in a position of zero debt and assets that can be liquidated is there a need for an insurance policy? My opinion is no. the bigger concern in my mind would be healthcare if you needed to go into a home and not be a burden on the family to wipe your ass for you.
