i dont know about the loan portion, other than the ADOT will have to aware since you dont have the title.  All i had was renters insurance at my brother's house as proof of residency, which they never asked for.  When you do get it registered in AZ, they ask if you have a difference mailing address and if you wanted to, you can use a CA address.  they didnt question much when i did it.  I also did it at the Yuma ADOT.  it took about 15 minutes and half of CA fees.

im explaining it in DM because people bitch and complain about living in CA and registering it in AZ.

Yes, that is why I DM you also...I know people get their panties in a bunch regarding that. LOL

I did not understand your comment..... "other than the ADOT will have to aware since you dont have the title."

Can you give me an idea on what type of fees and how those are figured? I know they don't require sales tax on the purchase since its a used vehicle. What other fees are there?

if your vehicle is not paid off, your registrations shows a Legal Owner, which is the lender.  therefore you do not have your pink slip to provide to the ADOT (AZ DMV).  im guessing they would need to know the name and address of your lender to add to the registration.

as far as the loan portion, i dont think it matters.  a friend of mine who lives in CA bought a new truck in AZ a couple months ago.  He got his loan out of CA.  Hope this makes sense.

When i registered my truck (2013 Diesel 2500), i provided them with the pink slip which they took and later sent me their version of a pink slip.

i paid 276 and registered my truck for two years and my SXS for one year (only allowed to pay 1 year at a time for the sxs).
