Whats it like up there when the wind is kicking up in the 30's or 40's ? Must be a wild ride. On my last trip overnight i could of sworn my 30' 15Klbs trailer was going to flip or end up in Kansas

The suspension on the truck is stiff enough I don't really feel anything. Pointing the truck so the wind hits the hard shell vs the cloth material helps a lot too.

There are straps that pack it up you need to tie down or you hear them flapping around all night

I upgraded the mattress in it so it's blow up with memory foam inside of it so it's super comfortable but also insulated well from the bottom. Slept through winds, rain, snow etc

My only complaint is the shitter situation. Everything else modern tech has fixed. Battery box for power all weekend, battery powered fridge, solar panels etc

I have a soft-sided rooftop tent. It's loud in the wind, but no real movement.
 
This is my present/old set.up. I get 9.5 mpg going across UT (where the speed limit is 80).

And, the same yard, about a week ago/before.

I slept in the back seat of my crewcab truck two different times the season before last. I works for one night which is all I did but getting up in the morning to go take a dump sucked. Long weekends I will bring the Moho
 
This is Aspen. 318 and 4.11 gears means that I won't be a speed.demon. But, l.ll get there. We had to pull the cabinets out on one side to get it wide enough for an ATV.

It went from ambulance to a painter. I bought it from his ex, who was handling his estate for their daughter.

BTW, Walmart bedliner, and RustX paint (Almond) and both were brushed on ( All 3 colors). Yep, I might be a redneck.

Don't get to close to the paint.job.

I do the same thing, but instead of the porta potty, I do the Home Deopt bucket, black trash bag, cat litter and toilet seat top from a granny chair!
Works perfectly, and then done I just throw the bag of "cat poo" away! Lid goes on the bucket after conducting business and you can't smell anything!

Truck, Small 5th Wheel Travel Trailer?, MC Trailer.

Man, we'd be budget balling with that set up.

19', sleeps 5 and has everything, shit, shower, sleep, cook, etc.

Non-Commercial Class A, 5th'r has brakes and would be under 65'
