Better than expected, I have been paying out of my arse for the last couple of years. The Big Beautiful Bill saved me money in comparison to the last previous years, especially for us Californians (SALT tax).

Remind your Liberal friends when they go to the voting booth.

I don't think most liberals can connect the dots.

Did ok here also, paid less than feared. Same with guys i work with, lots of overtime was worked last year and that seemed to help them.

I saw a slight positive bump for '25.

It amazes me how many people over pay intentionally so that they get a big refund every year. I shoot for zero owed or returned and am close to that mark every year.

My youngest daughter hit the jackpot with the BBB and having a baby during '25.

Usually break about even between fed and state. Was up this year.

Mailing off my Fed payment today. I always wait until 4/15 for that, LOL.

We did OK. made more money than I had anticipated, so ended up paying Fed & getting back on state but the delta was close enough to zero, no biggie. Made 401K contribution change for 2026.

Big beautiful bill helped me get a refund this year. I don't think I've had a refund in the last 5+ years.
