It's Saturday April 4th 2026.. What is everyone doing this weekend?

Weekend at home. Enjoyed relaxing, getting rest, have had a weird sciatic nerve issue for past few weeks. Something in my back is pinched, the pain moves around from groin, to legs, to back, its driving me nuts. Disappears and then comes back with a vengeance by the dumbest movements, makes calves, etc feel like they are on fire.

Getting old is bullshit.

Went to a new church, kind of got burned out on the Mega-style Christian churches we have attended over the years. Found a small local community Baptist church, gave it a shot on Good Friday, then their sunrise service on Sunday. This place is SMALL, but the genuine feeling of being welcomed, not a part of the herd, etc. was refreshing. We will keep at it for awhile and see where it goes.

Kind of fell away from going for a few years, it was good to be back in that environment.
 
One of my best friends begged me to take care of his Grandma's car so they dropped it for the day.

Good thing I'm a "really good car washer" (Eh, Matt?!) and knocked it out as a good CAR WASHER does;

-Washed
-Interior Detail
-Hot Water extraction on the entire interior
-Ceramic Spray coating
-The rest of the usual stuff

CR-V was DIRTY!

Customer was STOKED.
 
Wrapped up a kick ass week of Nashville, checking the Music Row Happy Hour off the wife's bucket list on Friday... even made it on the air with Buzz to mention Glamis Veterans and coined him and his producer Nick Ultra (jarhead). Several delays on the way home but finally got home ~1am Sunday morning in time to nap and hit Easter service, then spent the day with the whole fam. I'm going to hibernate for a week and recover...

That is soooo rad wish I could have hear it or even better see it in person.

Today is the launch of Wallen's channel on Sirius and they are playing last Friday's happy hour right now. I just got tipped off that some of the interviews have already been on, ours should be coming up
