Good seeing you guys today, today was a blur of issues. Don’t remember when you guys took off.

We had an issue blowing fuses today, losing a few runs down the track, upon a deeper inspection we found the problem. We had a crack in the header, this crack was venting onto a harness thus melting the harness. We had a tig welder in trailer, never used and new in box took us a few to get it setup but got it all welded up. This normally would not had been an issue but we put a little wager down on an extra race for the fans.

Blown hemi jeep vs turbo Vw dragster, this was loosely setup for 630pm, the repairs were completed at 629pm, quick test and warm up and we were off to the staging lanes. End result was a 2.63 to a 2.64 pass, we had the faster pass but I was late on the tree, hell of a race. Crowd went nuts. This was our fastest time ever, we lost so much data earlier in day, this pass gave us a bunch of data, well worth the wager.

Nice meeting you. Glad you got your issue sorted out and were able to make a great pass.
Sorry we were not there to see it but we left shortly after the accident and heard the driver was ok.
 
2.67 today in the heat, last night and today we either spun tires or unloaded tires on wheelie bar at about the half second mark. Not excessive but we need to evaluate video and data logs and adjust. Making about 45lbs of boost on 2 step
