Is your Glamis season Over?

This weekend was supposed to be the next trip but summertime temps shut that down. Trailer is still at GDS so I will be heading out at least one more time, just need to find a weekend where I can get cool enough temps and no W for the drive home
 
Budget didn't allow for a lot of trips this year, and was made worse by ye olde SR20 giving up the ghost after 18 seasons right before the Thanksgiving trip.

Made 1 trip, but it was 10 days. Might make another, but it's looking not great.
 
I wasn't done, but the weather has put a hold on trying to do another trip, bummer. This winter, not much skiing or Glamis, I need to get my priorities in line.
 
Shooting for the first weekend in April, might try a couple of summer trips. Those were the best trips and its been awhile since the last one for us.

Im currently swapping motors and hope to take it out next weekend. But like all projects it spiraled quickly so its not looking good. I want to make it out before its too hot so I know we're good for Idaho in September.
 
I was supposed to Go this weekend with the UTV Invasion guys but the weather chased me off from that and it would be just a one day trip so 250 bucks in diesel for one day I said Nope Plus I have a Birthday party to go to in Lemon Grove this saturday.I already asked for the time off for Vets weekend and for New years so Hopefully Next season will be a different story..
 
I was down there this last weekend. It was nice and warm. It wasn't bad riding riding up till noon (but, the pipes were hot). 1st thing in the morning, it was great. In the evening, at about 4p, twernt bad, until you got tired of looking into the sun, twernt good until then.
 
Trans went boom the day after new years and ended my season early. Car was due for Hiems, hardware, and shock service so I blew it apart instead of just pulling the transmission to prep for our summer runs to Idaho, cinders, etc.
